Last summer, one of our founders and his fiancée were in the process of planning their wedding. Being a style conscious guy, he wanted to look his best on his wedding day without breaking the bank. He checked flash sale and daily deal sites every day for months hoping to find a discount on a designer tux. The problem was, he never knew when a deal for a tux would come up, and even if he did, he wouldn't have time to do research on the retailer and the tux during the 24 hours that the deal was live. You see, the daily deal concept simply doesn't work within the realities of planning a wedding.
We know that planning your walk down the aisle isn't as simple as figuring out where to grab sushi after work, or whether to take trapeze lessons this weekend. With that in mind, we set out to create a new online deal experience where you and your fiancé (or fiancée) could take advantage of deals on must-have wedding items, in a way that makes sense for couples planning for the big day.
